Murata, Kirito Kiri_zps4f428efc

Personality: Soft spoken and mysterious, he doesn’t open up to others very easily. Very intelligent, dedicated, and driven, he likes to take charge and expects to be taken seriously despite being eerily quiet.
Role: Surgeon, excels in Psychosurgery/Neurosurgery
Other comments: Kirito is mostly blind in his left eye due to an accident when working on an extremely dangerous patient, leaving the pupil disfigured.

RP Example:

The constant, repetitive beep of the Electrocardiogram served as a quiet metronome keeping track of the minutes as they sluggishly passed by, always a welcome, reassuring sound to the Doctor. Reminiscent of his favorite classical tunes, bringing that serene calm right before a storm. Lifting up the syringe Kirito slowly pressed his thumb against it, shooting a delicate spurt of translucent liquid into the air and eliminating all air bubbles.

“I’ll be injecting you with a local anesthesia and then we’ll get started.” A slow smirk pulled across thin, pastel colored lips. “Electroconvulsive therapy is a highly effective treatment for schizophrenia.”

He conveniently left out the part that it was seizure inducing and had a tendency to cause severe memory loss. It was all worth it though, to disrupt the central nervous system’s electrical current and restarting the brain to fix proper the severe mental disorder.

“Just listen to the sound of my voice, and answer all of my questions.”

The plan of course, was for the patient to drift off into unconsciousness very quickly, leaving open ended questions lingering in the air between doctor and patient signaling that he was ready for treatment. However that moment never came. The patient suddenly tweaked, jerking away from the needle. And he was fast. Kirito hadn’t been expecting it, and the nurse shrieking out in surprise definitely wasn’t helping. A harsh clatter of materials were knocked to the ground as the metallic tray bounced off of the tile, the doctor’s attention pulled away for only a split second.

That proved to be enough time for the deranged to strike.

As the doctor turned to reach out for the troubled patient a sharp, blindingly white pain seared through the left side of his skull. The screams of his assistant got deafeningly louder, drowning out the alarm that someone had finally pulled. Or was that just the throb of agony drumming away in his head? Blindly Kirito reached out, slamming his palm roughly into the man’s face and feeling more so the crack of his nose as it busted underneath the pressure, rather than acknowledging it. The doctor made no move to stop there. Throwing his body weight behind that arm he didn’t cease until he felt the dull thud of the patients back hitting the wall of the CU, literally bouncing the troubled head off of the thick, concrete wall. The crack was sickening. The schizophrenic patient crumpled to a lifeless pile on the ground instantly, Kirito of course only acting out of defense now. Free hand groped across the toppled over supplies while warm, red liquid gushed over the entire left side of his face, fingers wrapping around the nearest blade.

Working with highly disturbed patients is always an unexpected adventure, no?
