Nurses/Interns

The Nurse Role is probably the most versatile and important role in the entire Hill of Acropolis RP. If you want a wide selection of things to keep you busy or are unsure of where you want to go, this is probably the role for you.

Nurses perform a wide variety of job responsibilities here at the Acropolis Psychiatric Hospital. They must care for and educate patients about their conditions, as well as establish trust and build a rapport with patients and other staff alike. Duties can include:

• Working with a variety of different patients, specializing in numerous areas
• Observing and recording patient behavior
• Consulting with doctors and other healthcare professionals
• Establishing treatment plans and operating medical equipment
• Performing diagnostic tests
• Treating medical emergencies and recovering post-operative patients
• Administering medications

Here in Acropolis Psychiatric Hospital the Nurses also act as the Interns. They are the face of the entire Hospital. General responsibilities can also include:

• Writing reports, preparing documentation and recording entries, planning meetings for treatment of patients and staff
• Managing caseloads, prioritizing needs, completing patient records, evaluating new patients
• Assisting with restraints, transportation, preparing supplies, etc.
